Sustainability at Superior Plus

Sustainability Reports

The Canadian federal government recently passed amendments to the Competition Act (Canada), with the intention of addressing misrepresentations by companies around environmental and ecological benefits. While Superior Plus Corp. ("Superior") supports the elimination of exaggerated or false environmental claims in the marketplace, ambiguity in the legislation creates uncertainty as to how it will be interpreted and applied and could restrict how we communicate on these matters. We await guidance from the Competition Bureau regarding the legislation and its application and may adjust how we communicate on these topics after such guidance is received.

In the interim, because we believe information regarding Superior's environmental and sustainability efforts is important to our various stakeholders, we will continue to include it on our website, and in our social media, sustainability report and other public communications. Such information has been prepared and disclosed in good faith in accordance with applicable laws, standards, and best practices. Where reasonably practicable, data has been verified by third party experts. Superior remains committed to our sustainability objectives, including our efforts to reduce our environmental impacts and helping our customers reduce theirs.
